— Cape Town The Stormers are unquestionably the favorites into the Round Four United Rugby Championship (URC) match against Zebre.

The Stormers will not make the mistake of underestimating the Italians, even facing the team that finished last in the standings in the previous season.

The Stormers defeated Zebre 55-7 at the Danie Craven Stadium last season, but they are cognizant of Zebre’s development. The two teams will meet in Parma on Saturday (kickoff at 4pm).

“This is not a team that we will underestimate,” stated Stormers assistant coach Norman Laker. “Their games against Leinster and the Sharks were quite close.” We are looking forward to the encounter because they are a well-coached squad.

The Stormers defense coach promised the media that they will not dwell on last season’s performance. Instead, they are concentrating on making amends for their Round Three victory over Edinburgh.

“I was speaking with a handful of the players last night, and I told them that our performance in the Stellenbosch game was simply outstanding. We were quite sterile. We were at our best and had excellent game control.

“We know what to expect from Saturday’s game. It’s going to be a close contest. It was satisfying to recover against Edinburgh. We are concentrating on ourselves and rectifying our errors from the last games.”
