A white student at Stellenbosch University has been accused of, quite literally, ‘taking the piss’, after he offered-up an apology for his actions over the weekend. The youngster was seen on camera URINATING onto a black student’s belongings.

The video was taken at a Stellies residence, and then circulated on social media. The incident reportedly happened on Sunday, 15 May 2022 around 4:00 at the Huise Maria building while the black first year student was sleeping.

In the video, the black student can be heard asking the one peeing why he is doing so…’This is what we do to black students’, he reportedly said, fuelling unequivocal outrage on social media.

How the offender gained access to the room remains up for debate, but whatever the motive, an apology was delivered during an emergency house meeting yesterday. The footage has been posted online, but not everyone is convinced by these words.
