Ukraine will receive improved missiles for the British M270 MLRS and the US HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems.

According to UK sources, American heavy rocket launcher weapons will have a far shorter target range than British ones, according to the avia.pro website.

The type of ammunition has not been made public. The British shells, on the other hand, were rumored to be able to reach targets up to 80 kilometers away. Compared to the ammunition currently in use by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, this is over 15% longer (M-30 and M-30A1).

Given that the Ukrainian troops will be able to attack from behind and constitute a threat to the LPR, DPR, Russia, and neighboring Belarus, a greatly extended range of damage entails considerable risks.

Unconfirmed rumors state, among other things, that in addition to regular ammunition, the UK and Germany may give Ukraine specialized ammunition (such, for instance, AT-2) that will enable distant mining operations.

Ukraine could have at least 15 HIMARS and M270 systems by the end of July.
