We’ve all had experiences in our lives that we thought had died and been buried, yet people keep reminding us of them.
A few years ago, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s farm in Bela-Bela was broken into, and R1,24 billion was hidden under a mattress and couches.
The President most likely believed the break-in died and was buried in 2020, but it has now made its way to the public.
In your instance, even though you’ve moved on, people may continue to bring up your divorce or why you were fired from your previous employment.
On The Morning Show, Thomas and Skhumba ask: “What are those things in your life you thought had died and are buried but people keep reminding you of them?”
Gugu is sick of people reminding her of how wealthy she once was and how opulent her lifestyle was. In her comments, she tells them: “l know but at least l once had fun and enjoyed the fruits of my hands, I’ve travelled to places many of you haven’t been to, but have been working since. I have a property which l can pinpoint what l did with my money while you guys still stay with your parents. My children have been to the best schools. I’m still going to have money even more than l used to have.”
Nkosana shares: “When my son’s friends ask me about him, not knowing that he’s no more. He died very young last month, he was supposed to be 2 years old.”
