Seven and nine-year-old British brothers drown in Germany’s outdoor pool

According to accounts, two British lads perished while swimming in a lake in Germany.

Two brothers, ages nine and seven, were found in the sea after their parents originally reported them missing at around 6 o’clock on Thursday.

Specialist rescuers entered the water in search of the pair as many police cars sped to the scene at Lake Rursee in western Germany.

According to German news agency Bild, their bodies were discovered and dragged from the water, where paramedics were able to revive them.

They were then taken to the hospital and later declared dead.
