The caption was extensive, condemning both the October 7 terror attacks and the deaths of ‘thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians.’

The brand asserted that ‘Palestinian civilians must be protected, period.’

It expressed deep concern for the victims of Israeli airstrikes, highlighting the suffering of innocent Palestinian civilians, including children.

The company also made it clear that it condemns any form of anti-Semitism and Islamophobia, emphasizing the importance of denouncing attacks on civilians.

Selena Gomez, the founder and chairwoman of Rare Beauty, recently signed a letter to President Biden, along with other artists and advocates, calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Addressing the Backlash and Critics
