‘Saved my life’: AKA pens sweet b-day message to Nadia Nakai

South African rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA penned a sweet birthday message to his girlfriend, rapper Nadia Nakai today (18 May).

AKA and Nadia Nakai were rumoured to be dating from December 2021 when fans speculated that they went on a “baecation” together. The pair confirmed their romance by going “Instagram Official” in March.

However, the pair sparked rumours of a split in April after their date night in Ghana. Nadia unfollowed AKA on Instagram, but the pair late released a statement confirming that there was no drama between them. This comes Daily Sun reported that AKA “moered” Nadia.

“Just to clear the air there was no physical abuse nor verbal altercation between us. we are fine and there’s no drama between us, we are basking our individual successes from the amazing trip,” read the statement.

The pair continued to share photos and videos of each other on Instagram. AKA has now penned a short and sweet message to the Naaa Mean rapper on her 32nd birthday.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY @nadianakai by @blavk_rebel … saved my life ,” he wrote.

“I love you Thank you,” replied Nadia.

AKA was trolled on Mother’s Day (8 May) for posting a photo of his ex-girlfriend and “baby mama” DJ Zinhle. The pair share a six-year-old daughter named Kairo Forbes. DJ Zinhle also has an eight-month-old daughter with musician Murdah Bongz.

Tweeps trolled AKA for being with Nadia and posting his “baby mama” but he clapped back. He said it’s called maturity and being an adult.

“It’s called … maturity. Being an adult. Try it. It’s lit,” replied AKA.
