Sandra Eveno Ordered to Pay £15,000 in Legal Fees After Years of Harassment and Aggression Toward Neighbour Kristyna Robinson in West Hampstead

Sandra Eveno, a dancer and singer, has been ordered to pay £15,000 in court fees after a prolonged and disturbing campaign of harassment against her neighbour, yoga instructor Kristyna Robinson.

This legal battle stems from an escalating dispute that began when Eveno moved into a flat below Robinson’s in West Hampstead, London, in 2015.

The two neighbours clashed over the use of a shared garden, with Eveno’s behaviour escalating into consistent disturbances and a deliberate campaign to make Robinson’s life “almost intolerable.”

Years of Aggressive Behaviour and False Allegations

Over the course of seven years, Eveno subjected Robinson and her family to constant verbal abuse, false allegations, and irrational behaviour.

The conflict intensified when Eveno accused Robinson of noisy yoga sessions taking place upstairs, leading to even more confrontations.

At one point, Eveno took her protest to extreme lengths, lying down in the dirt to block contractors from installing a fence to divide the shared garden, before attacking a worker with a branch.

Court Findings on Eveno’s Uncontrolled Actions

After a lengthy legal process, Camden Borough Council sought an eviction order.

The court heard that Eveno’s actions had been a series of irrational outbursts, often involving shouting, screaming, and making unfounded criminal allegations against Robinson.

Judge Alan Saggerson, ruling in the Central London County Court, described Eveno’s behaviour as “uncontrolled” and “irrational,” noting that she had made numerous false claims to the police and Robinson’s employers.

He concluded that if Eveno remained in the same flat, she would likely continue her behaviour, and ordered her eviction as well as the payment of up to £15,000 in legal fees.

The Impact on Robinson’s Family

Judge Saggerson highlighted the severe emotional toll Eveno’s behaviour had on Robinson and her family.

He noted that the pattern of harassment, including shouting, false accusations, and intimidation, had left the Robinsons feeling miserable and mentally strained.

The judge said that this type of behaviour would likely continue if not stopped, emphasizing the need for the court’s intervention to protect Robinson’s mental well-being.

Defence and Rejection of Eveno’s Claims

In her defence, Eveno denied many of the allegations and claimed that her actions were provoked by Robinson’s noisy yoga classes and a series of fabricated video and audio recordings.

However, Judge Saggerson rejected her defence, stating that Eveno’s claims were inconsistent and unreliable.

He pointed out that while Robinson’s behaviour wasn’t flawless, it did not come close to the extreme conduct exhibited by Eveno, and the court sided with Robinson in the dispute.

Legal Outcome and Future for Eveno

In the final ruling, Eveno was ordered to pay the legal fees for Camden Borough Council, with a cap of £15,000.

The council had offered Eveno an alternative flat nearby, but the lengthy battle and her continued aggressive behaviour have led to a necessary eviction.

Judge Saggerson noted that a suspension of the order on the condition of good behaviour would have been “setting her up to fail,” given the repetitive nature of her actions over the years.

Eveno’s eviction marks the end of a long and damaging conflict in a once peaceful neighbourhood.
