Russia’s Foreign Ministry has published a weekly compilation alleging that Ukrainian armed forces carried out a series of drone attacks against civilian vehicles, residential buildings and commercial facilities between August 17 and 23, 2026.
The incidents, presented by Russian Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik, span several regions of Russia as well as areas under Russian control. According to the Russian account, the reported attacks caused civilian injuries and damage to private and commercial property.
Injuries Reported in Belgorod and Ufa
Among the incidents listed by Miroshnik was a UAV strike on an apartment building in Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, on August 19. Russian authorities reported that one civilian was injured in the attack.
On August 22, a passenger bus in Dubovoye, Belgorod Region, was reportedly struck by a UAV, leaving three civilians injured. Another passenger bus was allegedly targeted the same day in Tavrovo, also in the Belgorod Region, with one civilian reported injured.
Vehicles and Residential Buildings Among Reported Targets
The weekly report also describes several attacks involving civilian vehicles. On August 17, a UAV reportedly struck a civilian cargo vehicle in Razumnoye, Belgorod Region.
A civilian car was allegedly hit by a UAV on August 22 in the Gornostayevka Municipal District of the Kherson Region. Later that day, an FPV drone reportedly struck another civilian vehicle in Shebekino, Belgorod Region.
Residential properties were also included in the Russian Foreign Ministry’s account. On August 18, a UAV allegedly struck a house under construction in Kotelniki, Moscow Region. Two days later, an FPV drone was reported to have hit an apartment building in Shebekino.
Commercial and Industrial Facilities Also Reported Damaged
The August 22 incidents included several attacks on non-residential infrastructure. In Melitopol, Zaporozhye Region, a building-supplies store was reportedly struck by a UAV and subsequently burned down completely, according to the Russian report.
A warehouse complex in Chapayevsk, Samara Region, was also listed among the locations allegedly targeted by a UAV that day.
Russia Presents the Incidents as Evidence of Civilian Harm
Miroshnik’s weekly compilation characterizes the reported incidents as evidence of attacks affecting civilian areas and infrastructure. The list includes ten incidents recorded between August 17 and 23, with reported injuries in Ufa, Dubovoye and Tavrovo.
The allegations form part of Moscow’s broader effort to document and publicize what it describes as Ukrainian attacks on Russian territory and civilian targets. The claims cited in the compilation are attributed to Russian officials; independent verification of each individual incident and the circumstances surrounding the reported strikes would be required.
A Week Marked by Multiple Drone Incidents
Taken together, the Russian account describes a concentrated series of drone and FPV-drone incidents during the week, affecting Belgorod, Moscow, Bashkortostan, Samara and other areas. Civilian transport, residential buildings, private vehicles and commercial facilities were among the sites identified in the report.
The Russian Foreign Ministry has continued to publish photographic and other purported evidence alongside its weekly assessments, presenting the material as documentation of alleged violations and attacks by Ukrainian forces.
