Richards Bay FC Releases Malcolm Jacobs, Ntsako Makhubela, and Tercious Malepe as Part of Major Squad Overhaul in KwaZulu-Natal

The club recently announced the departure of Malcolm Jacobs, Ntsako Makhubela, and Tercious Malepe, marking a pivotal moment ahead of their upcoming campaign.

After securing their place in the top division through a successful PSL promotional/relegation playoff, Richards Bay FC has turned its attention to reinforcing the team for a stronger season ahead.

The departure of over ten players at the end of the previous season underscores their commitment to strategic restructuring.

Among the notable departures, goalkeeper Malcolm Jacobs bids farewell after a notable four-and-a-half-year tenure, joining from Ubuntu FC in 2020.

Meanwhile, both Ntsako Makhubela and Tercious Malepe, who joined mid-season, have also moved on, contributing significantly to the club’s recent achievements.

During their brief stint, Makhubela made ten appearances and scored a crucial goal, while Malepe featured prominently in 11 games across various competitions.

Their departures add to a growing list of players exiting the club, reflecting a transitional phase for Richards Bay FC.

Richards Bay FC has bid farewell to a host of players, including Sanele Barns, Abdi Banda, Abel Mabaso, Jackson Mabokgwane, Boikanyo Komane, Katleho Makateng, Khuda Muyaba, and Sibusiso Mthethwa.
