The situation at Kaizer Chiefs is the same as it is at any other club in the world: a new coach is brought in to bring about changes in the playing team. Arthur Zwane has followed in his footsteps.

When it comes to Zwane’s starting lineup, the former Amakhosi winger made four changes, with the fifth change being forced due to Bernard Paker’s ban.

So, who did Zwane choose as replacements and who did he drop?

Following Baxter’s previous game against SuperSport United, Zwane dropped the following players in the 1-0 loss to Stellenbosch:

Reeve Frosler, Phathutshedzo Nange, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, and Samir Nurkovic.

Replacements:

Happy Mashiane, Sabelo Radebe, Keagan Dolly, and Leonardo Castro.

Will the former winger stick with the same starting lineup or experiment with fresh combinations? We’ll find out soon enough.

Meanwhile, Zwane’s next match is on Wednesday at 15:00 in Durban against Golden Arrows.
