A bold new claim has surfaced from a Republican representative suggesting that NBC may be withholding a crucial videotape that could potentially clear Lee Harvey Oswald’s name in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
Rep. Luna’s Allegations on Fox News
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican from Florida, made the startling claim during an appearance on Fox News with host Jesse Watters on Friday night.
The discussion centered around the recent release of over 80,000 pages of declassified material from the National Archives regarding JFK’s assassination.
Watters asked Luna whether all documents related to the event had been made public, and her response raised eyebrows.
Luna shared, “We’re in the process of tracking down two specific documents.
I would like to tell the American people that NBC has a video that has never been seen before.”
The Secret Tape That Could Change Everything
Luna went on to describe the content of the alleged tape, claiming it shows Oswald near the vehicle during the assassination.
This would seemingly undermine the longstanding narrative that Oswald acted alone as the assassin.
“It allegedly shows Oswald near the vehicle when the assassination took place, which means he couldn’t have been the shooter,” Luna said.
According to Luna, this tape could “blow open the entire JFK investigation.”
She added that the renowned director Oliver Stone had seen the footage and believed it was crucial for the American people to have access to it.
NBC’s Silence and the Call for Transparency
Luna urged the public to demand that NBC release the tape, claiming that it is in the public’s best interest to understand the truth about JFK’s assassination.
“I believe that tape belongs to the American people,” she said, pushing for transparency on a matter that has remained shrouded in mystery for decades.
DailyMail.com reached out to NBC for comment, but the network has yet to respond.
The JFK Assassination and the Mystery of Oswald’s Role
John F. Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963, during a motorcade in Dallas.
Oswald, then 24 years old, was arrested for the murder after allegedly firing shots from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository.
Oswald himself was killed two days later by Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner, during a jail transfer.
This led to widespread speculation that Oswald was silenced to prevent him from revealing more details to investigators.
In 1964, the Warren Commission concluded that Oswald acted alone, but the official narrative has never silenced the many alternative theories that have emerged over the years.
New Documents and Conspiracy Theories
The recent release of thousands of pages from the National Archives has added fuel to these ongoing theories.
The documents, some of which had been redacted for decades, include reports and notes that reference key figures in the investigation and offer a glimpse into the alternative perspectives surrounding the assassination.
Among the revelations were claims from a top CIA agent about the “deep state” being responsible, as well as assertions that Oswald was an incompetent shooter and that the Secret Service had been warned about an imminent attack on Kennedy months before the assassination.
While many documents have been released over the years, a large number remained classified until this latest batch, which included over 2,200 files.
Some of the materials even suggested that Kennedy’s death might have been tied to a conspiracy involving a second gunman, a theory that has persisted for years but has never been definitively proven.
Ongoing Mystery and the Public’s Demand for the Truth
Though most of the files related to JFK’s assassination have already been made public, estimates indicated that thousands of documents were still undisclosed, either fully or partially.
Last month, the FBI released 2,400 additional records, further fueling public interest in the case.
The ongoing mystery of the JFK assassination remains a deeply ingrained part of American history, and for many, the search for definitive answers continues.
With more records being uncovered and new claims emerging, the truth behind the death of the nation’s 35th president may eventually come to light — or remain a subject of debate for years to come.
