…By Jack Sylva for TDPel Media. Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has shared his thoughts on the commissioning of Africa’s largest 650,000 Barrels Per Day Dangote Refinery, set to take place in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos.
The event will be attended by prominent figures including President Muhammadu Buhari, President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, Faure Gnassingbé of Togo, Mahamat Déby of Chad, Macky Sall of Senegal, Mohamed Bazoum of Niger, and others.
The establishment of the refinery is expected to bring about a significant transformation in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
Owned by Africa’s wealthiest individual, Aliko Dangote, the new refinery has the capacity to meet 100% of Nigeria’s refined product requirements, including gasoline (53 million liters per day), diesel (34 million liters per day), kerosene (10 million liters per day), and aviation jet fuel (2 million liters per day).
Additionally, it will have a surplus of these products available for export.
Omokri took to his Instagram account to express admiration for Dangote’s remarkable achievement and made a comparison with President Buhari’s purported accomplishments over the past eight years.
He argued that if all of Buhari’s achievements were combined and multiplied by twenty, they would still be less significant to Nigeria and its people than the $19 billion Dangote Refinery.
In his post, Omokri stated, “For eight years, Nigeria endured Buhari.
For the next eight years, we will enjoy Dangote.
May God grant us fewer Buharis and more Dangotes.
In Yeshua’s Name.”
