“To guarantee that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s examinations comply with best global practice, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has prohibited the use of the following materials during examinations,” according to the bulletin.

“In their best interests, candidates are urged not to bring certain objects close to the examination venue.” Candidates will be barred from taking the exam if they violate this directive.”

Last year, some candidates who disobeyed the directive and carried some of the devices to the hall were arrested and handed over to security forces, according to JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin.
