Under the new legislation, the Nigerian Education Fund will be established and housed within the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This fund will enable eligible applicants to access education loans through commercial banks in the country.

Gbajabiamila applauded this provision, as it will provide financial assistance to deserving students pursuing higher education.

A Harmonious Legislature-Executive Relationship:

Gbajabiamila, who is also the Chief of Staff (CoS) designate to President Tinubu, viewed the President’s assent to the bill as evidence of a smooth relationship between the legislature and the executive during his tenure.

He expressed his belief that such a symbiotic relationship has led to significant governance changes within a short period.

Gbajabiamila congratulated Nigerians on this achievement and urged economically disadvantaged youth to make the most of the opportunities provided by the new law to shape their desired future.
