Pope Francis visits Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI with 19 freshly installed cardinals

Pope Francis and 19 of the 20 newly installed cardinals visited Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI at his Vatican residence on Saturday.

Vatican Media supplied video and photographs of Pope Francis and the cardinals receiving the retiring pope, who was sitting and 95 years old, personally. The cardinals joined Francis and Benedict in singing the Salve Regina after receiving their blessings.

Cardinal Richard Kuuia Baawobr of Ghana was unable to attend the visit for health reasons.
