…By for TDPel Media. Daniel Bwala, a political aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, expressed strong criticism towards individuals who have served as both ministers and governors and then returned to become ministers again.
Bwala stated that such actions reflect failure and are incompatible with principles of natural justice, equity, and good conscience.
He conveyed his sentiments through a tweet posted on Friday, in response to the list of ministerial nominees sent to the Senate by President Bola Tinubu.
In his tweet, Bwala likened the conduct of individuals following this path to that of repeating a class, stating that it reflects poorly on their capabilities and achievements.
He emphasized that such actions are not appropriate in the modern era, especially for those holding public office.
President Tinubu Sets Deadline for Ministerial Nominee Documentation
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Sen. Abdullahi Gumel, has imposed a deadline for ministerial nominees to complete their documentation.
The process of documentation for all the ministerial nominees has already begun.
Sen. Abdullahi Gumel revealed that all the nominees are expected to visit the SSA’s office, located at AB 25, Basement, National Assembly complex, between July 28 and July 30.
The timely completion of documentation is likely to facilitate the appointment and confirmation process for the ministerial nominees.
