“Police Seek Suspect in Unprovoked Assault on New Oxford Street”
Unprovoked Attack in Camden
Camden police are on the lookout for a man in connection with an unprovoked assault that occurred on New Oxford Street.
The incident took place at approximately 2:10 am on July 27, when a 40-year-old man and his friend were waiting for a bus.
Assault with a Broken Glass Bottle
During the assault, the victim was attacked with a broken glass bottle, resulting in several cuts to his head. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the victim were not life-threatening.
Unidentified Attacker
The attacker is believed to be unknown to the victim, and his identity remains undisclosed.
Despite approaching three months since the incident, the police have released an image of an individual they seek to speak to in connection with the assault.
Help Identify the Suspect
Anyone with information that can lead to the identification of the individual in the released image is urged to contact the police at 101 or post on ‘X’ @MetCC, quoting reference CAD 498/27Jul.
