The Kano State Police Command has taken into custody a prominent politician, Abdulmajid Danbilki, popularly known as “Commander,” on charges of inciting violence during his participation in a radio program.

The State Commissioner of Police, Hussaini Gumel, confirmed the arrest of Abdulmajid Danbilki, emphasizing the seriousness of the allegations.
Following the arrest, the suspect has been arraigned and is currently remanded at a correctional facility.
His bail application is scheduled to be heard on February 6 at the Chief Magistrate’s court overseeing his case.
