Ariane Bellamar, known for her work as a Playboy model, tragically passed away late last year at the age of 46.
News of her death was officially reported by Nevada’s Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner on December 20, 2024.
According to sources, the cause of death was a heart attack.
This was confirmed through a GoFundMe page set up by her ex-husband, Tanner Slaught, who expressed his shock and grief over the sudden loss.
Tanner Slaught’s Heartfelt Tribute
In his emotional tribute, Slaught acknowledged the unexpected nature of Ariane’s passing, especially at such a young age.
“While this unbelievable news is shocking because she was only 46, I can assure you that I have verified this truth,” he shared.
He further explained that neither Ariane nor her family were prepared for this sudden turn of events.
As a result, he and Scott were left to shoulder the financial responsibility for her funeral arrangements, a weight they were not expecting to bear.
Ariane’s Career and Legacy
Born in Florida and raised in Toronto, Ariane Bellamar made a name for herself as a Playboy model.
Beyond modeling, she appeared on television shows like Beverly Hills Nannies and Bravo’s The Millionaire Matchmaker. She also made cameo appearances in blockbuster films such as Suicide Squad and The Hangover Part II.
Ariane’s journey in the entertainment industry wasn’t without its challenges.
Her IMDb bio reveals that it took her more than six years to land her first paid theatrical gig— a small role in Entourage.
During her time on set with Hugh Hefner, Ariane developed a lasting relationship with the Playboy brand, which led to continued modeling opportunities.
Her time at Playboy also opened doors to other career milestones, including a role in Pauly Shore’s show Minding the Store.
Controversy and Allegations
In 2017, Ariane became involved in a public controversy when she accused Emmy-winning actor Jeremy Piven of groping her, both on the set of Entourage and at the Playboy Mansion.
Piven vehemently denied the allegations, stating, “I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being peddled about me.
It did not happen.” He also acknowledged the courage it takes for victims to come forward, hoping that the false accusations against him would not overshadow other important stories.
Ariane Bellamar’s life was marked by both achievements and struggles, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered by many.
