Sometimes the most exciting announcements happen in the middle of a song, and that’s exactly what Pixie Lott did on Sunday night.
While performing live at London’s Mighty Hoopla music festival, the 34-year-old singer thrilled the crowd by revealing she’s expecting her second child with husband Oliver Cheshire.
The moment was full of joy and celebration as Pixie shared her happy news right on stage.
A Shining Moment in Red
Dressed in a bright red blazer paired with a matching tie, Pixie put on a stunning display.
Her toned legs were on full show as she confidently sang to her fans.
Then, with a radiant smile, she announced, “I’m having another baby!” before cradling her baby bump for everyone to see.
The crowd erupted in cheers, sharing in her excitement.
From Secret Pregnancy to Public Celebration
This big reveal is quite different from Pixie’s first pregnancy experience.
When she was expecting her son Albert, born in October 2023, Pixie kept the news under wraps until she was 31 weeks along.
Back in June 2023, she finally shared the joyous news on Instagram, posting a tender photo of herself in a black sports bra and leggings, with Oliver planting a sweet kiss on her belly.
The couple also shared a picture of their ultrasound, beaming with happiness as they counted down the days until their baby’s arrival.
Pixie captioned the post with heartfelt words, saying, “We are beyond excited to announce we are expecting our first child together and cannot wait to start a family of our own.”
Welcoming Baby Albert and Looking Ahead
In September, Pixie and Oliver welcomed their little boy, whom they named Albert Charles Cheshire, affectionately called Bertie.
Pixie later wrote lovingly about this new chapter in their lives: “It has already been the most amazing time of our lives with you little Bertie, and we feel so incredibly lucky you chose us to be your mom and dad.”
She has also spoken openly about her dream of having a big family.
In a 2021 interview with The Sun, Pixie shared, “I’m a big family girl, a very big family girl.
It’s everything to me, so I would love to have my own when I can find the time. It’s such an amazing thing to have.”
A Love Story That Began on the Catwalk
Pixie and Oliver’s romance started back in 2010 when they first met at a Select Model catwalk show.
Their connection was instant, and by November 2016, Oliver proposed to her on the steps of London’s iconic St Paul’s Cathedral.
After several postponements caused by the Covid pandemic, the couple finally tied the knot in June 2022 at Ely Cathedral.
Pixie explained their decision to delay the wedding: “I didn’t want to do it when there were restrictions and we couldn’t invite everyone we wanted because of the rules.
I wanted to wait until we could have the big party — our wedding will be a big party.”
Keeping Love Strong Across the Miles
Their busy careers often keep them apart, sometimes thousands of miles away from each other.
But Pixie credits their strong foundation of trust for keeping their relationship solid.
She told The Sun, “Either I’m away or he’s away, and those times are hard.
But we’re used to it because it’s been like that since the beginning.
We have complete trust, and I think if we didn’t have that, it would be much more difficult than it is.”
She also reflected on what makes their relationship work: “Every relationship is different and there are no real rules.
Some of my friends have dated loads of people, and others are still with the first person they started going out with — a bit like me. If it feels right, you just go with it.”
From Teenage Star to Proud Mom
Pixie first captured the public’s attention when she was just 18, with her debut single “Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)” soaring to number one in 2009.
Now, over a decade later, she’s balancing her music career with motherhood and a growing family — and sharing every joyful step of the journey with her fans.
