Investigation and Discovery The Nantucket Police Department launched an investigation after responding to a ‘wellness check’ involving a woman on the yacht. The woman required ‘medical assistance,’ prompting authorities to locate and board the boat. During this intervention, sex workers were reportedly discovered on board. Law enforcement sources revealed that in addition to guns, drugs, and prostitutes, other contraband was found on the vessel, although specific details were not disclosed.
Additional Charges In addition to the firearm and drug-related charges, Burke faces one count of trafficking a Class B drug, one count of possession with intent to distribute a Class A drug, one count of possession of ammunition without a license, and four counts of possession of a large-capacity feeding device.
Vessel Details The JessConn yacht, designed by Jeff Leishman, features four docks of over 24 meters each. It offers luxurious accommodations, including three large guest cabins, an owner’s cabin, a laundry room, a main saloon, and a formal dining room. The yacht also includes a hot tub and can accommodate up to eight guests along with accommodation for two crew members.
