Kick-off at the Estadio 11 de Novembro is at 18:00.

The Brazilians are strong favourites to win the encounter and the tie, and advance to the semi-finals of this year’s CAF Champions League.

However, Sundowns cannot underestimate Petro who are slowly but surely stamping their authority in the competition in recent years.

This will also mark the third meeting between Petro and Sundowns, meaning both teams know what to expect on the day.

Sundowns then hammered Petro de Luanda 3-0 in January 2020, with Mauricio Affonso, the late Motjeka Modisha and Sphelele Mkhulise all finding the back of the net.

The match between Petro de Luanda and Sundowns will be screened LIVE on SuperSport channel 209 at 18:00.

According to the SABC Sport, the match will also been shown live on Open View channel 124, meaning the encounter will not be available on free-to-air channels.

The South African will run a live blog of the game between Petro and Sundowns with the match report published soon after the final whistle.
