Person dies after single-vehicle crash in Tasman

One person has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Tasman District on Monday night.

A police spokesperson said they were notified of the single-vehicle crash on Dominion Rd, near Mahana at 7.18pm.

The road was closed until shortly after 11.30pm.

On Tuesday morning, police confirmed one person had since died.

Inquiries into the circumstances of the crash were continuing, police said.
