Passenger dragged at Shudehill tram station in Manchester on May 27, 2022, after becoming trapped in the tram doors.

On May 27, 2022, at around 11:16 a.m., a passenger was dragged 13 metres before tumbling to the platform at the Shudehill tram stop after their luggage got caught in the closing doors of a departing tram.

The passenger was injured on the face and the hand.

When the tram pulled away from the tram stop, the driver was not aware of the passenger’s presence.
