This tiny girl has breakfast at the tomb of her Ukrainian war hero father on her first birthday.

The young girl, dressed in a gorgeous pink outfit, gestures to a portrait of Vladsyslav Soldat, a serviceman who was slain while protecting his nation against the Russian invasion.

Olena, the girl’s mother, claimed her daughter’s suffering ‘cannot be explained in words.’

‘My heart is shattered,’ she said on social media.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, it is estimated that 10,000 Ukrainian troops have died.

The Ukrainian government claims that over 30,000 Russian troops have killed, while Western intelligence estimates that the number is closer to 15,000 personnel.

The Ukrainian defense ministry released the photo, stating that her father was a member of the 93rd Kholodny Yar Mechanized Brigade.
