One person is killed and another is critically injured in a head-on accident on the R36 in Morebeng, Limpopo

Following a head-on collision on the R36 in Morebeng, Limpopo, one man was killed and another was critically hurt.

At 07:30, ER24 and other emergency services discovered a bakkie in the middle of the road and a light vehicle off to the side of the road. Inside the bakkie, two males were discovered to be stranded.

The males were examined by medical professionals, who discovered that both had several wounds and were in grave condition.

Rescue Services had to use specialised equipment to free the men from the bakkie. Once released, medics treated the men and provided them with advanced life support. Once treated, the men were transported to nearby hospitals for urgent care.

Unfortunately, after some time in hospital, the one critically injured man succumbed to his injuries.

The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
