On Zendling Road in Rustenburg yesterday afternoon, three automobiles collided and plowed into a number of pedestrians, injuring fifteen persons.

ER24 and a number of other agencies received the call and arrived at the location around 17h10.

When medical personnel arrived on the site, they discovered that two cars that had supposedly been racing each other collided with a third car and then swerved off into a group of onlookers.

Medical personnel investigated and discovered a large number of patients laying on the pavement.

Doctors examined the patients and discovered that fifteen of them had slight to serious injuries. Thankfully, no fatalities were discovered.

Before various services carried the patients to close-by hospitals, the patients were treated and given enhanced life support.

Although the full circumstances of this tragedy remain unknown, local authorities were on the site to conduct additional investigations.
