Ogun State received a 75 percent employment rating from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

According to Prince Dapo Abiodun, Governor of Ogun State, this record is not surprising because the current administration has put in place deliberate workable plans to ensure that people get jobs in the state.

The Governor, who made the announcement on Thursday at the Arcade ground in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, stated that the State’s high score was not by chance, and that the administration is doing everything possible to ensure that a larger number of people are employed.

The number one citizen of the Gateway State stated that the government’s investments in road infrastructure, health care, and housing, among other things, have yielded positive results, as a large number of investors have already arrived in the state, resulting in more jobs.

The Governor promised that the government would continue to put the welfare of the people of the state first by enacting policies and programs that would improve the state’s socioeconomic situation.
