The group, accompanied by cheerleaders and the Grizzlies mascot, engaged in on-the-spot head-shaving, with one member receiving a buzzcut into a trash bag precisely as Cleveland State’s Tevin Smith stepped up to the free-throw line.

While Smith managed to complete his free throw attempt, the distraction appeared to impact the Vikings, who concluded the evening with a subpar eight out of 13 successful free throws.

Despite the entertaining antics, the Oakland basketball team, known as the Golden Grizzlies, secured a convincing 83-71 victory over Cleveland State.
