Two judge nominees for the Eastern Cape High Court Division of Gqeberha, Vuyokazi Noncembu and Advocate Denzil Potgieter, could fill the two vacant positions if President Cyril Ramaphosa accepts the Judicial Service Commission JSC’s recommendations.

Noncembu is North West Regional Court President, who has also been acting as a judge in various high courts.

JSC co-spokesperson Doris Tshepe made the announcement about the two recommended candidates at a media briefing on Wednesday night.
