Nigerian banks have been sending messages to customers that international spending limit on Naira cards has now been reduced to $20 per month.

Message from GT Bank reads “Dear Customer

“We would like to inform you that the monthly spending limit on your Naira Mastercard has been reviewed to $20 for international online and POS transactions, effective 14th March 2022”

Same messages have been sent out by some other Nigerian banks as well.
