Nicole Samuel, the reality star who was runner-up on Love Island last summer, has recently opened up about her breakup with boyfriend Ciaran Davies and the surprising offer she received from Love Island bosses.
Just one day after announcing their split in December, Nicole was contacted by ITV with a proposal to join the current All Stars series.
However, she quickly realized that it was too soon for her to jump into another reality show.
Why Nicole Turned Down the All Stars Offer
At the Fake Bake party in London, Nicole shared her thoughts on the offer and explained that she wasn’t ready to dive into the All Stars experience.
“We announced the breakup on the Monday, and the next day they were in contact,” she revealed.
“It was too soon. I need time to heal.” Nicole emphasized that she wasn’t rushing into anything new, especially not another relationship or reality show.
“Mentally and physically I couldn’t do it,” she added. “I’m still processing the breakup.”
Staying on Good Terms with Ciaran
Despite the end of their relationship, Nicole reassured fans that she and Ciaran had ended things on good terms.
She acknowledged the challenges of transitioning from the villa into real life, saying, “In there it isn’t real life, and sometimes you come out and drift apart.”
Nicole stressed that there were no hard feelings between them and that they still got along well.
“We still get on, and there’s no resentment there,” she confirmed.
Nicole’s Focus on Self-Care
Nicole also revealed that she isn’t currently interested in dating again anytime soon.
She confirmed that she has no plans to use dating apps and is focused on spending time with her family and working on upcoming projects.
“At the moment, dating shows aren’t for me,” she said. “I want to focus on single me.”
She’s taking a break from relationships to fully embrace her own growth and the opportunities ahead.
Social Media Moves After the Split
Although they ended on good terms, Nicole did unfollow Ciaran on social media and deleted pictures of him after the breakup, which led to speculation about the nature of their post-split relationship.
The couple had missed out on the £50,000 prize, which went to winners Mimii and Josh, whose relationship also ended shortly after the show.
Eventful Night Out in London
At the Fake Bake party, Nicole turned heads with her stylish appearance, wearing a brown crop top and jeans that highlighted her stunning figure.
Other celebrities at the event included Hayley Palmer, who dazzled in a red dress, and Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova, who looked chic in a black minidress and thigh-high boots.
April Banbury also caught attention with her toned abs, showing off in a beige crop top and matching skirt.
Nicole’s journey continues to unfold, and it seems like she’s embracing her independence and career as she navigates life after Love Island.
