The two were wearing their sixties-themed costumes for the show’s upcoming 14th series, which is set to air next year.

Pictures from the set suggest that the Doctor and Ruby will be making a stop at Abbey Road, where Ncuti and Millie were caught on camera dancing along the iconic zebra crossing.

Both Jinkx Monsoon and Jonathan Groff, established singers and actors, are set to appear in the series.

It remains to be seen whether fans will get to see the Time Lord sing in the upcoming series.

Coronation Concert Appearance

Ncuti Gatwa’s return to set follows his appearance at the King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s Coronation Concert, which aired on BBC One in May.

During the Concert, Ncuti and Mei Mac from the Royal Shakespeare Company performed Romeo and Juliet in front of the royal couple.

Attention to Detail on Set

Fans of the show have been impressed with the attention to detail on the set, with a lotus white Volkswagen Beetle parked illegally in reference to The Beatles’ famous Abbey Road album cover.

The TARDIS was also spotted on set, with a distinct purple glow emanating from the police box as Ncuti and Millie emerged from it.
