NATO launches ratification process for Sweden and Finland’s membership in wake of Russia’s invasion

The ratification procedure for Sweden and Finland’s membership in the alliance was started by NATO today.

The action will worsen Russia’s geopolitical isolation as a result of its invasion of the neighboring Ukraine in February and subsequent armed conflicts there.
