NATO air forces perform coordinated training flights over Bulgaria

Joint training “Thracian Viper” is taking place above Bulgarian airspace, with planes from Bulgaria, Canada, Greece, Romania, and the United States honing their capacity to collaborate on missions. F-16, F-18, MiG-29, and Su-25 planes, as well as AS-532 Cougar helicopters, are flying from Bulgarian, Greek, and Romanian territory for this Bulgarian-led action. Since 2010, “Thracian Viper” has been held yearly, giving an excellent chance for Allied air forces to polish their abilities in a multinational setting.Joint training “Thracian Viper” is underway over Bulgarian airspace, with jets from Bulgaria, Canada, Greece, Romania, and the United States improving their ability to work together on operations.
