The Chairperson declares his unwavering support for the populace’s demands for their welfare and vehemently supports their desire for a prompt resolution to the nation’s problem, which has persisted for more than ten years.

In this regard, he requests that the legitimate popular movement uphold the integrity of every person as well as the respect for both public and private property.

On this occasion, he appreciates the Libyan parties’ support for and willingness to sign the African Roadmap for Libyan National Reconciliation in accordance with the previously proposed modalities by the African Delegation on behalf of the High Level Committee on Libya.

In this regard, the African Union Commission Chairperson emphasizes the inclusiveness of the reconciliation process and the necessity of the Libyan people taking ownership of it.
