Energetic performer Moonchild Sanelly has collaborated with several international artists including award-winning musician Beyoncé and she has added a United Kingdom rap star to the list!
Moonchild teamed up with Leicester-based rapper Trillary Banks on her new single Cute. Speaking to Music in Africa, the local musician said the song was about the “infinite strength” that women carry.
Moonchild Sanelly’s new single Cute featuring Trillary Banks is her second single of 2022 and will form part of her genre-bending album Phases, set to be released on 10 June.
The 34-year-old musician said the song speaks to strong women.
“We can be cute, so our power might look unthreatening, but don’t be fooled, we’re powerful.”
“Meeting Moon in person was also great, we were able to go to a gig, vibe at the studio, do some shopping and discuss visual ideas. What a crazy but cute 24 hours.”

Having dabbled in several genres over the years, Moonchild Sanelly will be showing her versatility in her upcoming album, Phases. Speaking to TshisaLive, she said that her fans will get to know her better through the new album.
“I’ve managed to piece all the different parts of me together because I’m known for different things in different parts of the world.”
The album will also feature Moonchild’s first single of 2022, Strip Club which was released on 17 March.

MOONCHILD SANELLY’S LONDON DEBUT
Moonchild is set to perform in London for the first time on 17 June. The performance was originally scheduled for 10 May but was pushed back.
The Covivi hitmaker will be performing at the Village Underground and there will be a special appearance from London-based DJ, Emily Dust.
