A viral video capturing the dramatic moment rapper 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was led into a Dominican Republic jail in handcuffs has generated significant attention on social media.
This arrest followed allegations that 6ix9ine attempted to flee the country after being accused of involvement in an assault on producer Diamond La Mafia and another individual.
During his arrest, he was harshly escorted out of a police car and into a police station, concealing his identity with a black balaclava.

Outside the police station, where 6ix9ine was taken into custody, hundreds of fans had gathered, eager to catch a glimpse of the 27-year-old rapper.

The assault, which led to 6ix9ine’s arrest, was reportedly linked to a dispute involving the rapper’s girlfriend, Dominican singer Yailin La Mas Viral.

While the actual assault was not captured on video, a clip showing a group of men about to enter a building is believed to depict the moments before the attack occurred.
According to reports, the assault took place when La Mas Viral was recording a song at a studio with La Mafia. Five men arrived and demanded to know her whereabouts.
When they couldn’t locate her, they initiated the attack. One of the victims, struck with the butt of a gun, required surgery to realign his jaw.
Allegations of Jealousy and Legal Consequences
La Mafia accused 6ix9ine of being “jealous” over his relationship with La Mas Viral.
Criminal lawyer Felix Portes confirmed the rapper’s arrest and stated that 6ix9ine was arrested in the town of Samana.
He is expected to be transferred to La Vega to face charges related to the assault.

6ix9ine’s arrest in the Dominican Republic is the latest chapter in his tumultuous history.
Notably, he was arrested in August for failure to appear in court related to traffic violations in Florida. Months earlier, he was beaten up in an LA Fitness gym, resulting in severe injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.

Facing significant charges, including racketeering, firearm possession, armed robbery, and attempted murder, he chose to testify against his associates.
