Nigeria – The Medical Director/CEO, Isolo General Hospital, Dr. Godwin Akhabhoa, has commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu led administration over the ongoing renovation/upgrade of the hospital, which is aimed at improving the status of the facility as well as enhancing service delivery to Lagosians.
Akhabhoa gave the commendation during his recent inspection tour of the ongoing projects at the facility, adding that the State Government is very passionate about the quality of public healthcare delivery accessible to all residents, especially the vulnerable in society.
While expressing satisfaction with the level of work done so far, he charged the representative of the contractor handling the project, Uriel Properties, Engr. Oloyede Banji, to carry all the stakeholders along to ensure project delivery is in line with required specifications.
The Medical Director, who also visited the various Clinics and wards to see how the patients are faring after his two-week leave, thanked the Director of Clinical Services & Training Consultant, Dr. Shuaib Muhammed for holding forth while he was away.
Other places visited by the Medical Director include the Accident & Emergency section, Heart 2 Heart unit, Physiotherapy department, House Officer’s quarters, Laboratory services, Nutrition and Dietetics department among others.
Recall that the Sanwo-Olu administration had embarked on the renovation/upgrade of the facilities in all the General Hospitals and Health Centres in the State as part of efforts to improve health care delivery in Lagos State.
