Kourtney Kardashian confessed that her “shock” wedding to fiancé Travis Barker on Monday 4 April in Las Vegas was actually only a mock wedding without a marriage license.
According to TMZ, Kourtney and Travis married at One Love Wedding Chapel around 01:30 a.m. on Monday. Travis had just finished performing live at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, April 3rd.
Instead of allowing the venue to take photos, the couple reportedly brought their own photographer and security. This comes after the Blink-182 drummer’s romantic beach proposal in October 2021, which was documented on the Kardashians’ new Hulu reality program, The Kardashians.
Many people were taken aback by Kourtney’s surprise Las Vegas wedding, but she later disclosed that it was more of a “practice wedding” without a marriage license in an Instagram post on Wednesday, April 6th.
Take a look…
“Found these in my camera roll. Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no licence). Practice makes perfect,” the post was captioned.
WEDDING NUMBER ONE FOR KOURT, THREE FOR TRAVIS!
This may be the first marriage for the Poosh creator, but Travis will be married for the third time. Travis and Melissa Kennedy were married for only nine months before divorcing in 2002. He married Shanna Moakler in 2004 after about two years, but the couple divorced in 2008.
Travis and Shana have two children, Landon (18) and Alabama (16), but he also looked after Shana’s daughter, Atiana De La Hoya. The model’s previous relationship with Oscar De La Hoya was the source of this information.
Kourtney isn’t married, but she has a public on-again, off-again romance with socialite Scott Disick, who was prominently featured on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Mason (12), Penelope (9) and Reign (9) are the couple’s three children (7).
