Man Slashed in Capitol Hill Robbery

Police are investigating after a man was slashed in a robbery on Capitol Hill early Tuesday.

The victim was walking near 10th Avenue and East John Street around 2:20 AM when two men approached him and asked to use his cellphone.

When the victim declined, one of the suspects demanded his wallet. One of the suspects then pulled out a knife and cut the victim’s face.

The suspects then fled toward Broadway.

Medics transported the victim to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
