The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a 26-year-old man, known as Akpannu, on charges of attacking a pastor with a machete following a false prophecy.

The incident occurred in May 2023 at the church’s headquarters in the Ijesha area of Lagos.

The accused, Akpannu, allegedly stabbed Prophet Anayochukwu, the targeted clergyman.
