A man and a woman, identified as Zilvinas Ledovskis, 48, and Egle Zilinskaite, 30, respectively, have faced charges linked to the discovery of two infants’ bodies in South Wales.

The charges encompass two counts of concealing the birth of a child and two counts of preventing the lawful and respectful burial of a deceased body.

Incident Details and Investigation Outcome

The charges are connected to the finding of two babies’ bodies at a property located in Maes-Y-Felin, Wildmill, Bridgend, in November 2022.

South Wales Police confirmed the charges, stating that the investigation into the discovery of these bodies led to legal action against the two individuals.

A spokesperson from the South Wales Police conveyed, “Detectives investigating the discovery of the bodies of two babies at an address in Wildmill, Bridgend in November 2022 have charged two people.”

The statement continued, detailing the charges brought against Egle Zilinskaite, 30, and Zilvinas Ledovskis, 48.

Legal Proceedings

The accused individuals are scheduled to appear before Cardiff Magistrates Court on February 20th to address the charges of concealing the birth of a child and obstructing the lawful and appropriate burial of deceased bodies.
