The administration of Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences is currently selling application forms for admission to its GENERAL NURSING and REMEDIAL SCIENCES programmes for the 2022/2023 academic year. Below are the admission requirements and application process for the Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences.

Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences Admission Form

Following the approval of the Federal Government of Nigeria for the formation of Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences, we are pleased to announce the sale of admission forms for the following programmes at the College:

  1. General Nursing.
  2. Remedial Sciences.
  • Applicants MUST not be less than 16 years at the time of application.
  • Applicants MUST possess at least two (2) passes at credit level including English Language and Mathematics to qualify for admission.

Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences General Nursing Admission Requirements

  • Applicants MUST not be less than 16 years at the time of application.
  • MUST Possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE/NECO) or GCE O’ Level or equivalent with at least 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two (2) sittings of the same examination body OR NABTEB at not more than one (1) sitting.

How to Apply for the Makurdi College of Nursing Sciences Admission Form

The application form is available online on the College’s admission portal at https://admissions.makcons.com. Interested individuals are to do the following;

  • Log onto the portal at https://www.admissions.makcons.com. If you are a new applicant, create a brief profile by clicking on the “create profile” button and entering the required information.
  • The system will return you to a login page where you are expected to log in using your email and the password you created in step 1 above. Please note that this will happen only for the first time in your application.
  • You can subsequently log in using your email and password.
  • On your dashboard, General Nursing applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable amount of Twenty Thousand Naira Only (N20,000.00), while Remedial Sciences applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable sum of Ten Thousand Naira Only (N10,000.00) using your debit card details. Please note that we do not save your credit card details and are not responsible for the security of your card details. Our payment gateway handles our transactions.
  • Follow the instructions on Admission Procedure guidelines on our website (https://www.makcons.com) to complete and submit your application online.
  • Check your application dashboard regularly for further instructions.

METHOD OF SELECTION:

  • General Nursing applicants will be subjected to a Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be conducted at the College’s CBT Centre. The date and time will be communicated to you on your dashboard.
  • Only candidates who attain acceptable standards shall be invited for screening.

Please Note:: There will be no Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations for Remedial applicants. Those who are qualified will be issued admission letters.

SCHEDULE OF ADMISSION ACTIVITIES

  • Form sales – 10th Monday, October, 2022 to 28th Friday, October, 2022
  • Entry Examination – 1st November to 2nd November, 2022.
  • Interview – 4th November, 2022.
