Maktoum bin Mohammed meets with King of Bahrain’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs

H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, today met with

H.H. Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The meeting discussed the growing bilateral relations between the UAE and Bahrain across various key sectors, and the ongoing cooperation on issues of mutual concern, especially in the areas of youth development.

H.H. Sheikh Maktoum and H.H. Sheikh Nasser discussed the importance of boosting knowledge exchange and creating a conducive environment that enhances interaction between the youth of both nations.

Sheikh Nasser Al Khalifa congratulated the UAE on the successful hosting of the World Government Summit 2022. He highlighted the importance of the topics being discussed in the Summit related to the future of the region and the world. The World Government Summit enables governments around the world to explore new opportunities and sustainable approaches that can help meet the aspirations of people, he said.

The meeting was attended by Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, and Shamma bint Suhail bin Faris Al Mazrui, Minister of State for Youth Affairs.
