Magnitude 5.1 quake strikes China’s Sichuan

022 – No casualties have been reported after a 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted southwest China’s Sichuan Province on Wednesday, said local authorities, state news agency (Xinhua) reported.

As of 11:30 am, over 280 dwellings were slightly damaged and two sections of a provincial-level highway had faced interruptions, said the publicity department of Xingwen County, adding that power supply and communications remain unaffected.
