North Wales Police released a statement regarding the incident, expressing their appeal for witnesses.
They reported that the collision involved a pedestrian and a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) on Church Street, resulting in the woman’s untimely death.
The police conveyed their condolences to the woman’s family and informed that the next of kin had been notified.
The 37-year-old HGV driver was initially arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving but has since been released under investigation.

Sergeant Emlyn Hughes, part of the Roads Policing Unit of North Wales Police, urged anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
He specifically requested the assistance of witnesses, as well as individuals who might possess CCTV or dashcam footage of the area during the time of the accident.
