‘Lies detected’: Musa Khawula called out for ‘fake news’ about Sjava

Controversial social media entertainment commentator Musa Khawula is under fire once again on social media after reporting that musician Jabulani “Sjava” Hadebe has a fourth wife.

Khawula has ruffled many feathers in the South African entertainment industry and currently stands to get sued by TV personality Minnie Dlamini and her estranged husband, Quinton Jones.

MUSA KHAWULA CLAIMS SJAVA HAS A FOURTH WIFE

The controversial gossip blogger took to social media on Sunday 15 May to report that Umcebo singer, Sjava, had found love in the arms of one of Ngizwe Mchunu’s wives.

Mchunu, who is a former Ukhozi FM presenter, is married to three women – Sphelele Nxumalo, Lindi Khuzwayo, as well as singer Nqobile “Floda” Mthimkhulu.

According to Khawula, Sjava has a “fourth wife” and the woman “was married to Ngizwe Mchunu”. His allegation was accompanied by a photo in which he claimed Sjava is pictured with a woman named Lindi Khuzwayo.

However, the woman in question is actually Floda Mthimkhulu, and not Khuzwayo as Khawula alleged.

MUSA KHAWULA GETS CALLED OUT

While a plethora of tweeps ran with Khawula’s allegations, many others were not pleased with his “lies”.

Eyewitness News journalist Nhlanhla Mabaso sarcastically responded to him by asking: “And Ngizwe Mchunu must have been congratulating him for taking his wife in this picture?”

Mabaso further shared more pictures, one of which shows Sjava and Mchunu pictured together on the same day. He explained that the pics were taken this past Sunday during Mchunu’s father’s funeral, which Sjava attended.

Other tweeps also called Khawula out and shared one on Mchunu’s social media stories where he also posted a picture with Sjava that was shot on the day.
