Lawmaker tasks Journalists on professionalism

The Senator representing Ebonyi North Zone, Senator Michael Ama Nnachi has urged Journalists to always maintain the ethics guiding Journalism.

Senator Nnachi made the call when Members of Correspondents Chapel of Nigeria Union of Journalists Ebonyi State Chapter paid him a Christmas homage at his home in Affikpo South Local Government Area of the State.

Nnachi further urged Journalists to report things the way they are.

“Personally, I don’t like Journalists to over report whatever I have done or to also under report it but to report it the way it is,” he said.

The Senator added that Journalists should be the mirror of the society instead of being an instrument of political image destruction.
